Course Description
Foundations of DEEN: An Intensive Islamic Studies Journey
Delve deep into the essential sciences of Islam with Sh. Musleh Khan in this comprehensive program designed for young adults aged 20 to 25. This year-long course is your opportunity to solidify your understanding of the Islamic creed (Aqeedah), the sciences of the Quran, Fiqh, and Hadith.
Semester 1:
Aqeedah: Explore the core principles of Islamic belief, focusing on the three categories of Tawheed and the 99 Names of Allah.
Sciences of the Quran: Understand the divine process of revelation, reflect on the Quran’s message (Tadabur), and gain a thematic overview.
Fiqh: Learn the essentials of Islamic jurisprudence, including Taharah, Salah, Zakaat, Ramadan, and Hajj.
Semester 2:
Hadith Sciences: Study the preservation of hadith and terminology, including the definitions of Saheeh and Hasan. Engage with 20 selected hadith covering various aspects of life.
By the end of the program, students will have a strong foundational knowledge of key Islamic sciences and receive a certificate of completion. The course content draws from respected scholarly works, such as Tafseer Al Muyasir, Tadween as Sunnah, and Abi Shu’ja’s summary of Shafe’e Fiqh.
